Joe Crabtree is a writer, director and producer working in film and theatre.
After leaving school, he worked in construction before solo travelling around the world. Highlights include staying on an ex-rodeo champion’s ranch in Southern Idaho, catching huge waves on a desolate beach on the pacific coast of Mexico, and being chased down a beach by a stampeding cow in North Goa, India.
Since returning to the UK, he has had a passion for telling exciting stories through the visual medium of film. His films have been shown at festivals on four continents and he is currently developing a short film, ‘The Soup’, and a theatre play ‘Alarm’.
Besides film, Joe loves dancing to Northern Soul music, following Middlesbrough F.C., and slow-cooking food.
